Summary: RTX is a leading company dedicated to helping the nation and allies defend freedoms. They are seeking an entry-level Software Engineer to assist in the development of real-time embedded software and collaborate with engineering teams to solve complex problems. Responsibilities: - Assist and participate in the requirements, design, development and testing of real-time embedded software, application software, and tools - Develop new work products or enhancements of existing applications and systems - Participate in internal reviews of software components and systems - Collaborate with our chief engineers, and other disciplines within Engineering - Work on difficult problems with defined scope, schedule, and expectations - Follow established development practices and processes to maintain the configuration management of software products Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) - This position is an entry level position open to candidates with 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding Internships) - Experience with C, C++, or C# - The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued clearance.
