They are seeking a Software Engineer I to develop software for aerospace and defense applications, ensuring robust functionality and collaboration with engineering teams. Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain software for aerospace and defense applications, ensuring robust functionality and reliability - Implement, test, and debug software solutions to ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards - Collaborate with systems engineering, hardware engineering, and other teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal system performance - Participate in code reviews, testing procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software quality and development processes - Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner - Document software designs, test results, and troubleshooting processes for future reference Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (STEM) - This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships) - Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or Java - Experience in software development life cycles, including Agile methodologies - The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance.
