They are seeking a Conversion Systems Security Engineer I to develop cybersecurity requirements and solutions to protect defense systems, while collaborating with a team of experts in the field. Responsibilities: - Supporting the development of cybersecurity requirements, design and architecture artifacts, plans, and policies - Defining security development and test efforts implementation of security controls of networking devices, databases, operating systems, and hardware and software component - Understanding and integrating cybersecurity development activities - Performing analysis on cybersecurity collected data and test results - Conducting technical and nontechnical trade studies - Validate secure configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, servers, operating systems, applications, and other assets, using - DoD approved scanning and assessment tools such as ACAS, STIG, SCAP Compliance Checker, and HBSS - Apply written and oral communication skills - Participate in the design and development of systems Required Qualifications: - Must have a BS (or higher) degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) - Applied engineering experience in one or more of the following domains: Systems Engineering, Software or Firmware development, Systems Integration and/or Test, ASIC development, Cybersecurity, System Security, Digital Electronics design or similar work history - The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date.
