Job Description
Summary: RPM Living is in the business of extraordinary, focusing on a people-first approach for success. The Multi-Family Business Intern position offers college students a comprehensive overview of the business through various department-specific projects and assignments, allowing them to gain exposure to the multifamily property management industry.
Responsibilities:
- Shadow department leaders across key areas of the business, including Risk & Insurance, Property Marketing, Human Resources, Procurement, Client Services, and more, to gain exposure to the multifamily property management industry
- Complete department-specific weekly assignments and projects designed to build understanding of each function within the organization
- Participate in department meetings and contribute to ongoing initiatives and projects
- Assist with a variety of tasks, including administrative support, audits, data collection, research, and preparation of reports or presentations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to learn departmental workflows and support operational initiatives across the organization
- Attend internship program meetings hosted by the Internship Liaison
- Participate in a final program assessment and evaluation with the Director of Onboarding and Integration
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Business or other relevant college or university degree program
- Ability to work in the office five days a week efficiently and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to read documents, computer screens and data
- Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer
- May occasionally be required to lift or carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to 15 pounds
- Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipment
- This is an in-office role, requiring the associate to work in one of our corporate or regional offices 5 days per week
- The office is an open setting which may include bright lights, constant noises and distractions
Preferred Qualifications:
- A valid driver's license is preferred; candidates without a license will be provided a liability waiver
