Job Description
What is the Opportunity?
Working effectively as part of a global team delivering technology change for our business partners, the project manager / scrum master will be responsible for initiatives that will span various US Cash Management trade-processing activities including project planning and delivery
What will you do?
Full lifecycle project management, including budget management, for a range of Cash Management technology projects, adopting RBC project management methodologies and ensuring governance to RBC PMO standards.
Ensure effective communication flow among business process owners, technical partners, project team members and all IT functions who participate and impact the results of the project development effort.
Build strong working relationships with trading, operational and compliance functions.
Chair working group meetings/ scrum calls, maintain backlog and deliver progress reports.
Manage vendor relationships.
In this role, you will communicate and interact frequently with RBC partners and/or employees located across Canada and/or worldwide.
What do you need to succeed?
Must have:
Technical diploma with 3+ years of experience in project management of small & medium initiatives from start through to conclusion, including managing the project / team budgets.
3+ years of experience in Financial/Banking industry
Excellent documentation, attention to detail, thoroughness and strong ownership of work
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PPT)
Experience with JIRA and Confluence
Deadline-driven and results-oriented; able to meet consistently high quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously
Nice-to-have:
Cash Management domain knowledge
Understanding of the architecture and applications involved in Digital Onboarding
