Job Description
What is the opportunity?
The Lead Business Analyst will support FC Governance and drive transformational change across our Financial Crimes program through requirement gathering, stakeholder engagement, and delivery excellence. You'll lead sessions for projects and programs focused on business integration and strategic enhancement of our program, including cross-functional meetings, track progress, manage action items, and coordinate initiatives to ensure project success.
What will you do?
Develop project deliverables: Create detailed end-to-end requirements, use cases/stories, and user acceptance test plans in collaboration with Project Managers to deliver business solutions aligned with sponsor and stakeholder needs.
Lead requirements analysis: Facilitate requirement gathering meetings, provide status updates, monitor workstream deliverables and timelines, and escalate issues to project leadership when necessary.
Manage program execution: Oversee multiple concurrent initiatives of varying complexity, ensuring activities remain on track against project plans and maintaining control over scope and dependencies. Continuously identify potential issues, conflicts, and risks; analyze impact and develop mitigation strategies; and escalate critical risks to leadership for timely decision-making.
Leverage analytics and reporting tools: Evaluate and recommend new analytical tools and data visualization platforms that enhance reporting capabilities and improve decision-making through better data insights.
Resolve business challenges: Investigate and mediate project issues and risks while building consensus among stakeholders to drive solutions that balance competing priorities and organizational objectives.
Build organizational knowledge: Partner across business units on enterprise initiatives, coordinate assigned deliverables, and ensure effective implementation while maintaining stakeholder alignment throughout delivery. Develop expertise across the organization, business operations, and information systems relevant to Financial Crimes Governance.
What do you need to succeed?
Over 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Financial Services on medium to large projects.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across internal departments and external suppliers.
Strong workload management and ability to deliver under pressure with tight deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication across all organizational levels.
Demonstrated experience evaluating and implementing analytical tools and data visualization platforms.
Experience with transformation/data sourcing/migration projects.
