Job Description
Summary: Ropes & Gray is a preeminent global law firm seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to join their Alternative Asset Opportunities support team. The role involves supporting attorneys and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within a fast-paced legal environment.
Responsibilities:
- Build strong working relationships with attorneys and team members across the organization
- Coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, and transportation
- Assist with preparing, formatting, and editing documents
- Help manage time entry and ensure accuracy in accordance with client guidelines
- Organize meetings and events, including scheduling and logistics
- Process invoices and expense reports
- Provide general administrative support (scanning, filing, document organization)
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Collaborate with colleagues on team projects and special initiatives
- Learn and use tools like Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook in a professional setting
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care
Required Qualifications:
- Motivated and detail-oriented
- Ability to build strong working relationships with attorneys and team members
- Experience coordinating travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, and transportation
- Experience assisting with preparing, formatting, and editing documents

- Hybrid on-site presence as an essential function of the role
