Build Your Career. Build Your Book. Own Your Earnings.

Looking for a sales career where your earning potential grows with your performance?

Rome Transportation is looking for driven, competitive, and motivated individuals to join our Sales team in Kitchener.

This isn't an account-management role where you'll inherit an established list of customers. You'll build your own book of business from the ground up — prospecting new customers, opening doors through outbound sales, developing relationships, solving transportation challenges, and working alongside our Operations team to deliver exceptional service.

With a $60,000 base salary and uncapped commission, you'll have the opportunity to significantly grow your total compensation as your book develops.

You don't need logistics experience to get started. We'll teach you the industry. You bring the drive, confidence, and persistence to build something of your own.

About Rome

Founded in 2000, Rome is a leading third-party logistics (3PL) provider committed to delivering tailored transportation solutions that help our customers move their businesses forward.

With a strong national presence and an entrepreneurial culture, Rome is in an exciting stage of growth. Here, initiative is encouraged, performance is rewarded, and you'll have the opportunity to directly impact your own success.

What You'll Do

• Prospect and develop new business through high-volume outbound calling, email, networking, and other sales strategies
• Identify and connect with decision-makers across a variety of industries
• Build and manage your own book of business
• Learn your customers' businesses and identify transportation solutions that meet their needs
• Work closely with our Operations team to quote, coordinate, and execute shipments
• Build long-term customer relationships through consistent communication and reliable service
• Negotiate pricing and identify opportunities to grow existing accounts
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently work toward individual sales and revenue goals
• Develop a strong understanding of the transportation and logistics industry

What We're Looking For

You don't need previous logistics experience to succeed here. We're looking for people who are hungry to build a career in sales and have the drive and work ethic to succeed.

You may be a great fit if you:

• Are confident picking up the phone and starting conversations with people you've never met
• Are competitive, resilient, and motivated by results
• Have strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Think critically and look for solutions rather than waiting to be given the answer
• Are organized and able to manage multiple customers, opportunities, and priorities
• Enjoy working as part of a team while being accountable for your own results
• Want a career where your earning potential grows with your performance

Previous B2B sales, customer service, recruitment, hospitality, retail sales, automotive sales, financial services, telecommunications, or logistics experience is an asset — but it is not required.

Compensation & Earning Potential

We offer a $60,000 base salary plus uncapped commission.

Our commission structure is designed to reward growth. As you develop your business and reach higher performance milestones, your earning potential increases — with no ceiling on commission.

Full details of our commission structure and performance milestones are discussed during the interview process.
