Job Description
Summary: Rogers Behavioral Health is a provider of mental health services, and they are seeking a Therapist Intern to develop, coordinate, and facilitate direct social services to patients and their families. The intern will work in various care settings and may perform duties related to cognitive behavioral therapies in collaboration with their university.
Responsibilities:
- Provide social services to patients and their families/significant others
- Complete all documentation within required time
- Complete discharge documentation as required and on time
- Provide leadership and guidance in the implementation of clinical interventions
- Communicate professionally and accurately
- Demonstrate strong interdisciplinary approach, facilitating effective communication among
- Participate in site committees
- Provide for patient safety and the safety of the facility
Required Qualifications:
- Completed Bachelor's Degree and enrolled in a Master's Degree program in Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling
- Working knowledge of therapeutic intervention and techniques for all age groups, as well as the dynamics of human growth and behavior
- Successful completion of all Rogers onboarding training coursework is required prior to start
- Formal training in the management of the aggressive patient (NCI) is required within sixty (60) days of date of placement
- Annual re-certification is required and will be provided
- Successful completion of pre-placement background checks through the Rogers system are required
- Successful occupational health clearance from your provider is required
