Responsibilities: - Develop high-throughput LC-MS-CAD methods for universal quantitation in reaction screening - Implement and optimize an inverse LC gradient to achieve an optimal CAD baseline and correct response across the gradient - Collaborate with scientists to analyze results, interpret data, and document findings for potential workflow improvements in reaction screening data analysis - Meet regularly with the mentor to discuss progress, results, and future plans. Engage in team collaborations to meet research goals - Summarize key research findings during the internship, deliver oral and poster presentations to the SMAC department and gRED scientific community Required Qualifications: - Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (enrolled student) - Must be pursuing a Master's Degree (enrolled student) - Must be pursuing a PhD (enrolled student) - Required Majors: Analytical Chemistry, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Material Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field - Foundational knowledge of organic chemistry and liquid chromatography - Strong experimental and data interpretation skills - Effective written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate in a team setting - Enthusiasm for problem-solving and innovation in analytical chemistry Preferred Qualifications: - Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills - Complements our culture and the standards that guide our daily behavior & decisions: Integrity, Courage, and Passion - Hands-on experience on other analytical techniques (e.g., MS) is a plus - Familiarity in Python or similar tools for data analytics is a plus Required Skills: Liquid chromatography, Organic chemistry Important Skills: Data interpretation, Analytical techniques Nice-to-Have Skills: Python, Communication skills, Problem-solving Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Summer Benefits: Paid holiday time off benefits
