Job Description
Summary: Roche is a leading biotechnology company, and they are seeking a 2026 Summer Intern for their Clinical Operations group within Genentech Research and Early Development. The intern will support clinical trials, drive strategic projects, analyze data, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance research initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute strategic projects for the Clinical Operations and Inclusive Research and Health Equity (IRHE) teams while representing Clinical Operations across pan-Roche functions
- Research emerging trends in study conduct, patient-centricity, digital health, and recruitment to bring fresh, data-driven insights to clinical programs
- Analyze large datasets and maintain tracking repositories to measure progress and inform strategic decision-making for program and study management and inclusive research
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (pRED, Global Patient Network) and external partners to integrate diverse perspectives into the research process
- Develop compelling presentations and organizational campaigns to showcase progress and advocate for simplified, inclusive best practices
Required Qualifications:
- Must be pursuing or have attained an Associate's Degree
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (enrolled student)
- Must have attained a Bachelor's Degree (within 2 years of graduation and not currently enrolled in a graduate program)
- Must be pursuing a Master's Degree (enrolled student)
- Must have attained a Master's Degree (within 2 years of graduation)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or Google Suite
- Proven ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and build professional relationships across diverse teams
- Strong organizational skills with experience managing multiple tasks or projects in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and influence outcomes without direct authority
Preferred Qualifications:
- Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Healthcare, Business, Communications or Business Development focus
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

- Experience working with AI, analytical and computational tools and technologies
