Job Description
Summary: Robinhood is a company focused on democratizing finance for all, and they are seeking a Short Term Planning Analyst to support staffing performance. The role involves analyzing data to guide staffing decisions, improving forecast accuracy, and refining processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Use data to guide staffing decisions that support service level targets and interval performance
- Analyze trends and identify root causes of forecast variance and performance gaps
- Build and maintain reports and models to support short-term staffing plans
- Partner with Operations, Forecasting, and vendor teams to improve staffing outcomes and productivity
- Translate data into clear insights and recommendations for decision-making
Required Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in analytics, operations, consulting, or a similar role focused on problem-solving
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
- Experience working with data using SQL or similar tools
- Ability to break down ambiguous problems and use data to inform decisions
- Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain insights to a range of audiences
- Experience with Python, R, or data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker
- Experience working in environments with evolving priorities and changing demand
