Video Editor at Robert Half in Greenville, SC

We are looking for a Video Editor to support a contract engagement focused on transforming existing video assets into short-form content for paid social campaigns. This role will take longer MP4 files and shape them into engaging clips designed for Meta platforms. The ideal candidate brings a strong eye for pacing, platform-specific storytelling, and efficient post-production execution within a 1–2 week project timeline.

Responsibilities:

• Edit existing MP4 video files into multiple short-form segments suitable for Meta advertising and social reel placements
• Create engaging 10–30 second video cuts that highlight key messages and maintain viewer engagement
• Adjust pacing, transitions, and visual flow to ensure each clip performs well in fast-moving digital environments
• Use advanced editing tools to refine footage, enhance presentation quality, and prepare assets for delivery
• Organize project files and manage edits efficiently to meet an expected start in mid-next week and completion within 1–2 weeks
• Review source material and identify the strongest moments to repurpose into concise, platform-ready creative
• Deliver final video outputs in formats appropriate for social media distribution and advertising use
• Proven experience editing digital video content for social media, advertising, or short-form campaigns
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro for assembling and refining video content
• Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects for motion graphics, visual enhancements, or finishing touches
• Strong understanding of video production principles, including pacing, sequencing, and storytelling
• Ability to work with existing MP4 files and repurpose long-form footage into concise promotional clips
• Familiarity with digital video standards and best practices for Meta and similar social platforms
• Ability to manage a short-term Contract assignment independently and deliver work on schedule
