Job Description Summary:

The Driver Processor role is responsible for managing and updating driver applications, monitoring background checks, and drug screen progress, maintaining accurate records, and preparing administrative reports. This position plays a key role in supporting recruiting, onboarding, compliance, and general office functions. In addition to core processing responsibilities, the role will provide broad administrative support and assist with other departmental duties as needed to meet business demands. The position is intended to remain flexible and adaptable, with responsibilities that may expand across multiple areas of the operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and track background checks, MVRs, and drug screen results
• Ensure all pre-employment requirements are completed accurately and on time
• Communicate with applicants, recruiters, and vendors regarding status updates
• Review documents for completeness and compliance with company standards
• Maintain organized and audit-ready driver qualification files
• Generate and distribute administrative and recruiting reports
• Assist with onboarding coordination and orientation preparation
• Enter and manage data across multiple systems with a high level of accuracy
• Follow up on missing or incomplete information to keep files moving forward

Administrative / Operational Support:

• Support recruiting team with processing and workflow management
• Verifying onboarding documentation
• Assist leadership with reporting, tracking metrics, and data pulls
• Handle general administrative tasks (filing, emails, system updates, etc.)
• Identify process gaps or delays and help improve workflow efficiency
• Cross-train in other functions to provide coverage when needed
• Share ownership of various spreadsheets used for tracking purposes

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to internal and external stakeholders.
• Communicates internally with Safety and externally with terminals, contractors, and sources for conducting employment and background checks.
• Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
