Job Description
Summary: Rightworks offers an intelligent cloud purpose-built for accounting firms and professionals, emphasizing a culture of innovation and teamwork. They are seeking a collaborative and analytical Data Analyst to transform data into actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using data from the enterprise data warehouse to support stakeholder needs
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements, define metrics, and translate questions into analytical solutions
- Support ad hoc analytical requests in a timely and accurate manner
- Validate and quality-check data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of reporting
- Present insights and recommendations in a clear, concise, and actionable way to stakeholders
- Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment, context, and impact of analyses
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 1–3+ years of experience in a related role (e.g., analytics, finance, strategy)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated team player who takes ownership and accountability for analysis and outcomes
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and visualizations
- Experience building reports and dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools
- Working knowledge of SQL preferred
- Experience working with large datasets and/or data warehouses
- Curiosity for uncovering insights and a strong passion for learning and continuous improvement
