Position Summary

Join Southampton Football Club’s matchday team within front of house retail, supporting fast paced food and beverage outlets across the stadium. This is an excellent opportunity for customer focused individuals seeking flexible, casual work in a vibrant matchday environment.

What We’re Looking For

We are hiring both Retail Staff to support matchday retail operations at Southampton FC.

• Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service roles (stadium or event experience desirable)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• A positive, reliable, and team oriented approach
• Basic numeracy and confidence handling transactions
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and matchdays

What You’ll Be Doing

Retail Staff:

• Serving food and beverages to fans across retail outlets and kiosks
• Providing excellent customer service to enhance the matchday experience
• Operating tills and handling cash/card transactions accurately
• Maintaining cleanliness and stock levels within your assigned area
• Following food safety and hygiene standards

Good to Know

• Retail Staff pay rate: £15.07 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
• Contract type: Casual / Matchday
• Location: St Mary’s Stadium, Southampton
• Shifts: Flexible, based on home matchdays and stadium events
