Summary: Reworld Waste is a leader in sustainable waste solutions, providing innovative solutions for carbon-negative outcomes. The ECDP Engineer I will participate in a two-year program to gain design and field engineering experience, supporting mechanical aspects of capital projects and operations at Thermomechanical Treatment Facilities. Responsibilities: - Support engineering activities at facilities including field services work, shutdown / maintenance outage inspections on various plant systems, equipment condition assessments, plant performance testing, incident investigations and technical troubleshooting, using RCA/Problem Solving Methodologies - Support design engineering activities for upgrade and new projects. This includes the collection and review of plant technical information, review and development of piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&ID’s), technical drawings, development of work scopes, plant modification option evaluation, concept development including mechanical design calculations, concept layout sketch and/or drawing development, request for vendor proposal, specification development, bid evaluation support, design review, construction inspections, and commissioning support Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Process or Mechanical Engineering - 0-2 years of relevant experience - Internship, Co-Op or prior work experience in Mechanical or Process engineering - Basic knowledge of how AI tools work in industrial environments - Proficient with MS Office suite - Strong educational and technical background - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Ability to gather input and lead a task to completion - Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks - Attention to detail - Strong organizational skills - Exemplary initiative - Ability to be flexible and adaptable - Quick learner - Ability to extract and analyze data - Critical thinking and problem-solving skills - Team player with a can-do attitude - Motivated and committed Required Skills: Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, MS Office Suite, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), Mechanical Design Calculations, Technical Drawing Development, Plant Systems Engineering, Incident Investigation, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Data Extraction, Analysis, Task Leadership, Multitasking Benefits: Medical, prescription drug, vision, and dental plans, 401(k) plan, Paid parental leave, Paid time off, Paid holidays
