Job Description
Summary: Revvity is a developer and provider of end-to-end solutions designed to help scientists, researchers, and clinicians solve the world’s greatest health challenges. The Finance Intern role focuses on driving efficiency and automation across financial and operational reporting processes, developing Excel-based models, and collaborating with various teams to standardize reporting outputs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance Excel-based models to automate recurring monthly and quarterly reports
- Identify manual, repetitive processes within existing reporting workflows and design automation solutions to improve efficiency and reliability
- Support the automation and standardization of: Monthly business review (MBR) files, Key performance and metrics trackers, Management and operating review (MOR) presentation materials, R&D actuals and financial reporting
- Improve data consolidation processes, including forecast updates, actuals integration, and variance tracking
- Partner with FP&A, Corporate Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure reporting outputs meet business needs and follow best-in-class formats
- Maintain and document Excel models to ensure usability, scalability, and ease of future updates
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending enhancements to reporting structure, level of detail, and automation opportunities
Required Qualifications:
- Currently Pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or business Management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, data modeling, and automation techniques
- Experience building and maintaining complex Excel models used for recurring reporting
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into efficient reporting solutions
- Attention to detail and a structured approach to problem solving
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
