Summary: ResMed is a company focused on medical technology, offering a 12-week internship experience for aspiring AI Engineers. Interns will work closely with mentors on real-world problems, particularly in the area of AI solutions for EHR customers, while gaining valuable skills and networking opportunities. Responsibilities: - Work directly with a mentor in your field of study while finding solutions to real world problems - Experience our products up close by working with one of our SaaS R&D teams - Interact directly with our company leaders - Build a lasting professional network through social events and engaging activities - Gain the skills and knowledge to become a future leader in the medical technology industry - Work directly with talented individuals of all levels - With guidance from a departmental leader, work on research and implementation of vertical models using LLMs in AWS to bring AI experience for EHR customers Required Qualifications: - Ability to work full-time for 12 weeks during Summer 2025; program dates are May 18th – August 7th, 2026, OR June 15th – September 4th, 2026 - Software Engineering or equivalent academic studies that will lead to a Bachelor's or Master's Degree - Experience with Java, Spring, MicroServices, SQL, AWS Services, Machine Learning, LLMs, Agentic AI Preferred Qualifications: - Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills - Strong experiences as demonstrated through projects, research or information technology internships - Great interpersonal relations, team cooperation and communication skills - Exceptional organizational and collaboration skills as demonstrated through leadership positions on teams and/or in student or civic organizations - Exceptional communication skills and interest and enthusiasm related to medical technology industry and a career with ResMed Required Skills: Java, AWS Services, Machine Learning, LLMs Important Skills: MicroServices, SQL Nice-to-Have Skills: Interpersonal relations, Critical thinking, Problem-solving, Team cooperation, Communication skills, Organizational skills, Collaboration skills
