About the Role
We're looking for a Sr. Staff UX Designer to own the end-to-end user experience of our web platform and lead and grow the existing design team. This is a senior individual contributor and people leadership role — you'll be equally comfortable setting design direction, rolling up your sleeves in Figma, and mentoring the designers around you.
You'll be the primary driver of our design system and a key voice in shaping how design and engineering collaborate across the organization.
A Day in the Life of Our Senior Staff UX/UI Designer
Own the UX strategy and execution for our web platform, from discovery through delivery
Lead, mentor, and grow a product design team
Help architect, implement, and maintain a scalable design system in close collaboration with dedicated design system team and engineering (Storybook)
Define and uphold UX standards, patterns, and best practices across the product
Partner with product management, engineering, and stakeholders to translate complex requirements into clear, elegant user experiences
Drive design critique culture and raise the overall quality bar of the team's output
Drive team growth through hiring, onboarding, and culture building
qualifications
What We're Looking For
10+ years of UX/product design experience, with at least 2–3 years in a staff-level or lead role
Proven experience building and maintaining design systems at scale
Strong Figma proficiency you know the tool inside out
Familiarity with Storybook and comfort working in close proximity to front-end code
Experience working within Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) in cross-functional agile teams
Demonstrated people leadership - you've managed or mentored designers and helped them grow
Portfolio showing complex web platform work: information architecture, interaction design, and systems thinking
Excellent communication and facilitation skills — you can align stakeholders and run a room
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Nice to Have
Experience with Hardware Engineering tools.
Experience with B2B SaaS or developer-facing products
Familiarity with component-driven development and design-to-code workflows
Background in conducting and synthesizing user research
