Summary: Remington 1816 is a company specializing in ammunition manufacturing, and they are seeking a Formax Mechanical Adjuster to maintain production operations. The role involves machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and setting up machinery to ensure high-quality production. Responsibilities: - Maintaining manufacturing operation through the performance of machine maintenance and troubleshooting - Setting up machinery with proper tooling to produce the various products - Maintaining and/or repairing machinery to good working condition for producing high quality Required Qualifications: - Must be able to complete a 6-12 month training program and successfully pass the set-up test. Failure to pass this test will result in removal from the position and being reassigned which may or may not be on your current shift - No disciplinary action at a Report of Conference level or above in past 12 months - Ability to perform at above average productivity level as a Mfg Associate 5 while maintaining quality & safety standards established for the operation - Demonstrated above average mechanical ability - Must have good communication and interpersonal skills - Must be able to learn department machinery and processes, and operate all machines within the department within 90 days - Must be able to learn and understand SPC and Problem Solving Techniques and be able to use as diagnostic tools within 30 days - Must have a good safety record - Must have good housekeeping and organizational skills - Ability to work independently without continual supervision Preferred Qualifications: - Electronic experience or education - Knowledge of/experience in pneumatics and hydraulics - Experience with cold forming equipment - Personal computer skills Required Skills: Mechanical maintenance, Machine setup, SPC (Statistical Process Control), Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Cold forming equipment operation, Personal computer skills, Forklift operation, Hand tools operation, Problem Solving Techniques Benefits: Medical and dental, Vision, Disability and life insurance, 401K, PTO, Tuition reimbursement, Gear discounts
