Job Description
Summary: Rehlko is a global leader in energy resilience, dedicated to creating solutions that improve life. The UI/UX Designer will be part of an agile team focused on developing and maintaining software applications that connect and monitor standby generators, ensuring user-friendly designs and innovative solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems, participate in collaboration with stakeholders and contribute to larger design projects
- Collaborate with product owners, product management, service, and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience
- Execute visual design thinking stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
- Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Present designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
- Participates in user research & aligning with the larger market needs
- Provide deliverables, prototypes, and user flows, use cases that directly help drive feature value
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
- Reports to Director – Marketing, Home Energy
- Interaction with Sr UXUI Designer, business executive management on NPD or other programs, highlighting progress & risks
- Frequent contact with UXUI designers, software, engineering, marketing, service, etc
- Occasional contact with Legal Department regarding Company policy, patent application, or lawsuits
- Occasional contact with dealers/installers
- Occasional contact with external vendors
Required Qualifications:
- Four-year degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, User Design or another related field
- 1+ years of experience UXUI
- Proven UI and UX experience
- Demonstrable UI and UX design skills with portfolio
- Experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
- Competency in Photoshop, Illustrator, OmniGraffle, or other visual design and wire-framing tools
- Competency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
- Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Up to date with the latest UI and UX trends, techniques, and technologies
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
