Summary: Regal Rexnord is a publicly held global industrial manufacturer, and they are seeking an Engineering Intern to apply engineering principles in the planning and development of tools and processes. The intern will support various projects, create instructions, and collaborate with manufacturing personnel to enhance product quality and efficiency. Responsibilities: - Support VAVE (Value Analysis/Value Engineering) projects - Create assembly/disassembly instructions - Contribute to model automation and fixturing design work - Update and maintain engineering specifications and standards - Working closely with manufacturing personnel to solve on the job problems - Review standards and drawings and facilitate updates as needed Required Qualifications: - Enrolled in a University or college program at junior or senior level - Preferred course of study to include ME, MET, IE, IET - Problem solving and critical thinking skills - Strong interpersonal skills which foster teamwork and collaboration - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively deliver and transfer technical concepts - Intermediate level proficiency with MS Office software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Ability to support VAVE (Value Analysis/Value Engineering) projects - Ability to create assembly/disassembly instructions - Ability to contribute to model automation and fixturing design work - Ability to update and maintain engineering specifications and standards - Ability to work closely with manufacturing personnel to solve on the job problems - Ability to review standards and drawings and facilitate updates as needed Required Skills: Value Analysis, Value Engineering, Assembly instructions, Disassembly instructions, Model automation, Fixturing design, Engineering specifications, Engineering standards, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
