Job Description
Summary: Refresco is a beverage manufacturing company seeking an Intern in Commercial Finance. The internship provides hands-on experience in various organizational functions, allowing interns to assist with projects, financial reporting, and process improvements within the department.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of daily reports (e.g., labor, orders, shipments)
- Contribute to the month-end accounting close process and help with financial reporting
- Support the finance team with financial reporting, cost analysis, and operational budgeting to ensure accurate financial management
- Learns organizational processes and procedures
- Contributes to assigned projects and may assist with the development and maintenance of documentation or records
- Manage an assigned project focused on continuous improvement within the department
- Comply with all safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain documentation, reports, and logs relevant to the internship function
- Shadow experienced professionals and gain exposure to best practices in beverage manufacturing
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
- Interest in business operations and organizational functions within the beverage manufacturing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with other tools is a plus
- Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different departments
- Flexibility to work in a hands-on environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to support process improvements and contribute to projects
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate from an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree in Business, Human Resources, Supply Chain, Accounting, Finance, Marketing/Communications, or a related field, depending on the department
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher in your declared major
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work the hours requested by your supervisor and fulfill the required hours set by your university for academic credit (if applicable)
