Summary: Refined Technologies is a leader in the chemical cleaning segment of the refining industry, delivering patented chemistries, processes, and equipment for turnaround services. The IT Intern – Production Enablement focuses on taking early-stage, AI-assisted applications and preparing them for real-world use, working closely with engineering to bridge the gap between rapid prototypes and production-ready systems. Responsibilities: - Review early-stage or AI-generated applications and identify gaps - Assist in deploying applications to Azure environments - Support containerization efforts using Docker - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines - Implement core production features - Partner with developers to refactor prototype code into deployable solutions - Create clear documentation and runbooks to support long-term maintainability - Collaborate across teams to align development speed with production standards - Manage multiple tasks with a focus on quality and delivery - Stay current with modern development tools, Azure services, and AI-assisted coding workflows Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field - Working knowledge of at least one programming language - Familiarity with Git version control, Command line tools - Basic understanding of Cloud concepts (preferably Azure) - Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail - Clear communication skills and ability to work across technical and non-technical teams Preferred Qualifications: - Exposure to Microsoft Azure (coursework or certification is a plus) - Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions) - Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code - Exposure to AI-assisted development tools - Interest in improving code quality, performance, and maintainability Required Skills: Programming language, Git version control, Command line tools, Cloud concepts, Microsoft Azure, CI/CD tools, Infrastructure as Code, AI-assisted development tools
