Summary: Redwood Credit Union is looking for a Digital Experience Design Intern to provide hands-on experience in designing and improving modern digital banking experiences. This position will contribute to the research, design and implementation of the credit union’s digital assets, including the public website, online banking, and loan origination systems. Responsibilities: - Web design and development work using HTML, CSS, Figma, and Adobe Suite, including enhancements and bug fixes to support and maintain public website - Research, design, develop, and support the implementation of UX/UI projects across both internal and external digital platforms - Support UX/UI design projects for both customer-facing and internal digital systems - General Quality Assurance tasks - Task management through work organization tool (Jira) - Participate in meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings - Foster positive relationships with other Redwood Credit Union team members Required Qualifications: - Must be a Junior or Senior in college with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA - Working knowledge of UX and UI principles such as usability, visual/architectural hierarchy, consistency, accessibility, simplicity, and clarity - Desire experience using Confluence and Sharepoint - Strong quantitative and analytic skills - Strong service orientation - Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing - Ability and desire to work in a team-oriented environment - Ability to coordinate a variety of activities simultaneously and prioritize work to meet deadlines - Ability to provide a recent transcript will be required during the interview process Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with Javascript frameworks (Angular, React, Backbone, Node.JS, etc) - Understanding of the purpose and use of APIs Required Skills: UX principles, UI principles Important Skills: Confluence, Sharepoint, Javascript frameworks, APIs Nice-to-Have Skills: Quantitative skills, Service orientation, Task prioritization
