They are seeking a UX Research Intern to help build and maintain the 'Research Agent', focusing on automating research tasks and collaborating with UX Researchers to enhance efficiency. Responsibilities: - Build & Automate: Work directly under the guidance of the UXR Manager to execute on technical requirements, building workflows using low-code tools to automate manual research tasks - Data Wrangling: Script solutions to pull data from diverse sources (Jira, Google Drive, Salesforce) and structure it for our internal RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) system - Prototype New Capabilities: Act as the primary technical builder, quickly creating 'proof of concept' features for the research team to test (e.g., a Slack bot that answers questions about past research) - Monitor Performance: Help track the quality of our AI agent's answers and fine-tune the prompts used to query our data - Collaborate with UX Researchers to understand their pain points and translate them into technical implementation Required Qualifications: - Core AI Proficiency: Critical familiarity with LLMs, RAG concepts, vector databases, and agent frameworks - Technical Aptitude: Experience with Python or JavaScript/TypeScript - Automation Mindset: Demonstrated experience (or side projects) to connect different apps using APIs or other techniques - Data Fluency: Comfort working with JSON, CSVs, and unstructured text data - Pragmatic Problem Solving: A focus on building 'good enough' solutions quickly rather than over-engineering; must be comfortable with independent execution Required Skills: Core AI Proficiency, Python Important Skills: Low-code automation, Data Fluency, JavaScript/TypeScript, API integration Nice-to-Have Skills: Pragmatic Problem Solving
