Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Electrical Project Manager to oversee electrical construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of construction management, project scheduling, and electrical systems, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This leadership role requires a strong background in supervising teams, managing contracts, and maintaining quality standards on large-scale construction sites.
Duties
- Lead and supervise electrical construction teams on multiple projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project specifications.
- Develop and manage project schedules using Primavera P6 and other construction management software to ensure timely completion.
- Oversee the execution of electrical work, including blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and installation of electrical systems.
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to facilitate smooth workflow and communication.
- Monitor project budgets, perform construction estimating, and manage procurement processes.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and industry standards for safety and quality control.
- Review contracts, change orders, and scope of work to mitigate risks and ensure contractual obligations are met.
- Conduct site inspections using tools such as ohmmeters to verify electrical system integrity and troubleshoot issues.
- Supervise subcontractors and labor crews, providing guidance on technical tasks such as schematics interpretation and system testing.
- Maintain detailed documentation of project progress, safety records, and quality assurance reports.
Skills
- Extensive experience with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and other relevant tools.
- Strong background in construction site management with proven supervising experience in electrical projects.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics analysis, and electrical system troubleshooting using tools like ohmmeters.
- Knowledge of contracts management, construction estimating, project scheduling, budgeting, and quality control processes.
- Familiarity with OSHA standards and safety protocols for construction sites.
- Excellent management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings such as schematics and blueprints related to electrical systems.
- Experience working within pipeline projects or heavy industrial environments is a plus. This position offers an opportunity to lead complex electrical projects within a dynamic construction environment while utilizing advanced management tools and techniques to deliver exceptional results.
Pay: $90,629.06 - $120,000.38 per year
