Senior Retail Executive
Location: Dublin
We're hiring a Senior Retail Executive to support the Retailer Membership function of Ireland's Deposit Return Scheme.
The successful candidate will play a senior operational role supporting Ireland's national retailer network through retailer engagement, onboarding, membership administration, operational support, retailer communications, reporting, project coordination and continuous improvement.
Working closely with the Retailer Manager, the role will support retailer compliance, retailer issue resolution, Bulk Return Point initiatives, operational reporting and cross-functional projects, while providing operational leadership across key workstreams and deputising for the Retailer Manager where required.
What You'll Achieve
- Deliver high levels of retailer satisfaction and operational excellence.
- Ensure accurate retailer membership and operational data.
- Resolve retailer operational issues and escalations efficiently.
- Support successful delivery of retailer operational programmes, including the Bulk Return Programme.
- Deliver accurate operational reporting and retailer performance insights.
- Drive continuous improvement across retailer operations and operational processes.
- Build strong working relationships with retailers and internal stakeholders.
- Provide senior operational support to the Retailer Manager.
What You'll Do
- Lead the day-to-day co-ordination of retailer operational queries and case management through to resolution.
- Oversee retailer registrations, ownership transfers and membership administration.
- Support retailer onboarding, operational readiness and retailer engagement.
- Coordinate retailer-facing Bulk Return Point initiatives, reporting and follow-up actions.
- Produce operational reports, dashboards and retailer performance analysis.
- Monitor retailer performance, redemption trends and operational KPIs.
- Support retailer payment queries in conjunction with Finance.
- Coordinate issue resolution across Finance, Customer Experience, Data & Technology, Logistics, Compliance and Communications.
- Maintain retailer operational procedures, guidance documents and Quality Management System (QMS) documentation.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), operational projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Represent the Retail Team at internal and external meetings where required.
- Deputise for the Retailer Manager during periods of operational demand.

Desired Skills and Experience
Essential
- 5+ years' experience in stakeholder/customer operations, retailer support or membership administration.
- Experience working directly with retailers or customer-facing operations.
- Strong analytical, reporting and data validation skills.
- Experience producing operational reports and performance insights.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, management and communication skills.
- Experience coordinating workstreams.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple business teams.
- Experience managing operational issues through to successful resolution.
Desirable
- Experience within grocery, convenience retail or FMCG.
- Knowledge of Deposit Return Schemes, environmental compliance or Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR).
- Experience using Power BI, CRM or case management systems.
- Experience maintaining Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Operational experience.
