What is the opportunity?
The On-Boarding Operations Associate will help RBC to navigate these challenges by successfully executing all pre-employment processes and will evaluate candidate files to determine if they have met all required thresholds. You will learn to identify high risk files, and potential fraud. You will be the primary contact for recruiters, keeping them informed on their candidate's status.
*This is a contract fixed term position and a preferred candidate is identified.*
What will you do?
- Reviews/analyzes pre-hire files to determine if all checks can be cleared or if additional information or analysis is required.
- Ensure all Pre-Employment checks including security, credit, criminal, employment and education verifications are completed and cleared within SLA.
- Complete all applicable follow-ups and escalate as required within the established framework.
- Clear and accurate documentation for record keeping and audit purposes using the appropriate method or system (ex. Service Now, Outlook, etc.).
- Maintaining and updating process documents and job aids.
- Support the resolution of investigations and escalations as requested by Talent Cycle Managers, TC Escalations team, HR Advice, etc.
- Ad hoc support for initiatives/projects/testing.
What do you need to succeed?
- Post-secondary education in HR or a related field.
- Will to develop Excel skills.
- Proficient in processing data on Workday.
- Experience creating and working cases in Service Now.
- Bilingual in English & French is a strong asset.
