Job Description
Summary: Raytheon is a company dedicated to helping the nation and allies defend freedoms and deter aggression. They are seeking an Electrical Engineer I to support the production of Shipboard Effectors products, responsible for circuit card assemblies and other electrical subsystem hardware.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot hardware and process issues down to CCA and component levels
- Resolution of issues on production lines and in testing (including suppliers)
- Failure analysis / root cause determination and corrective action implementation
- Performing analog and digital circuit analysis, and characterizing and modeling electrical signals of electronic subsystems in simulation
- Identifying and instantiating circuit card and subassembly design updates
- Some travel to suppliers may be required
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering or related STEM degree
- Electronics coursework, laboratory, or projects of electronics design
- The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of analog, digital, or mixed signal analysis/design
- Radio Frequency (RF) and Electromagnetic coursework and/or laboratory experience
- Knowledge of high-level programming languages, such as: BASIC, C/C++
- Interest in or experience with RF/microwave devices
- Experience with electrical software, such as: Mentor Graphics, DxDesigner, PSPICE, Advanced Design System (ADS)
- Experience with common test equipment, such as: Oscilloscopes, DMMs, Logic Analyzers, Network Analyzers, etc
