MANUFACTURING ENGINEER Job summary: The Manufacturing Engineer applies skills and job knowledge in area of specialization to adapt procedures, operations, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment to meet needs of area of specialization.    Specific Duties and Responsibilities: • Provide input to all continuous improvement suggestions in areas assigned. • Initiate cost reduction proposals through automation and manufacturing processes. • Work closely with factory employees and supervisory personnel providing Manufacturing Engineering services across all production departments. • Provide Manufacturing Engineering input during product line start-ups and upgrading of existing production facilities. • Update Manufacturing Engineering documentation and standards • Time will be split between production support, continuous improvement and project work. • Resolves issues/makes working decisions within area of specialization or responsibility with minimal supervision.
