Senior Investment/Portfolio Analyst
Location: Cottonwood Heights, Utah - United States
Job Description Summary
Under limited supervision, uses specialized knowledge and skills obtained through education and experience, to assist in analyzing portfolios, asset allocations and other investment holdings with client portfolios and make appropriate recommendations. Regular contact with internal and external customers is required to obtain, clarify, or provide facts or information. Utilize appropriate resources to create, present and maintain presentations and proposals for clients and prospects.

Responsibilities
Serves as relationship manager for a subset of existing clients, at discretion of lead FinancialAdvisors.
Prepares presentations, portfolio/equity analyses, and proposals for High Net Worth and institutional clients andprospects.
CoordinateseffortstogatherdatatoassistFinancialAdvisorsinpreparingresponsesto client or prospect requests.
Createsportfolio/equitysnapshots,researchesinvestmentsandprovidesfundreports upon request toclients.
Collectsandcompilesfundamentalresearchonrelatedcompaniesinresponsetoclient inquiries.
Mayleadclientmeetingstoidentifyclientgoalsandtolerances.
Developsandpresentsindividualizedclientinvestmentstrategy
Uses analytical tools, software and methodologies to research investment products, asset allocation and comparative analysis onportfolios.
PresentsorrespondstoinquiriesfromFinancialAdvisorsand/orclientstoresearchand resolveissues.
Creates presentations to clients and prospects under the direction of FinancialAdvisors.
Prepares customized written industry and company specific reports upon request to clients.
Develops financial models to forecast team revenue andincome.
PerformsresearchandanalyticsusedinInvestmentStrategywhitepapersforfinancial advisor or clientuse.
Coordinates preparation of scheduled and ad hoc performancereports.
Collaborateswithinternalandexternalproductexpertstoinsureproperduediligenceof products.
Developsandmaintainschecklistsfortrackingperiodicinvestmentmanagers’reviewsby third party and independent investment managersearches.
Generatesperiodicreportsoninvestmentanalysesandpeergroupcomparisonswith relevant investment benchmarks forclients.
Interfaces effectively with all levels of staff in managingportfolios.
Completes ad hoc projects and reports as assigned.
Performs other duties and responsibilities asassigned.
Education/Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and a minimum of four years’ experience in the financial services industry with an emphasis on conducting market research and analysis
