Job Description
About the company
Our client is a fast-growing law firm.
The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Assist attorneys with commercial contracts from first intake through signature for a varied client base. The work centers on drafting changes to agreements, refining internal workflows, and partnering with lawyers, project managers and engineers in a fully remote setting.
What you'll do
Review, redline and manage commercial agreements such as NDAs, SaaS agreements and data processing agreements under attorney supervision.
Support each contract through its full lifecycle, from initial intake to execution.
Handle healthcare-related agreements and confirm that privacy and compliance provisions are addressed.
Improve internal processes, documentation and handoffs to raise efficiency and quality.
Coordinate day-to-day with attorneys, project managers and engineers to give clients responsive support.
Keep contract workflows moving so attorneys can take on more work.
What we're looking for
Practical experience proposing edits and revisions to commercial agreements, beyond purely administrative contract handling.
Background in technology transactions at a large law firm, or commercial experience in an in-house legal team.
Experience in the healthcare sector, including business associate agreements and HIPAA-related provisions.
Exposure to a broad mix of industries rather than a single client or sector.
Roughly 4 to 20 years of relevant experience.
Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail.
Comfort working independently in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.
Motivation to help build a young organization and modernize how legal work gets done.
Clear, straightforward account of your work history.
Bonus points
- Experience taking part in or leading the adoption of AI tools in a legal setting.
