Job Description
About the company
Our client is a fast-growing software company.
The role
Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Own the roadmap for a core data product and lead a new zero-to-one developer-facing offering from early concept to market. Work across engineering, design and commercial teams to shape the technical product, its pricing and its packaging. Set priorities for quality, monetization and compliance on the existing platform.
What you'll do
Take a new developer-facing product from specification to launch, working with early design partners to identify must-have capabilities.
Design the end-to-end developer experience, including API contracts, documentation and SDKs, so customers can start simple and grow into advanced features.
Define pricing, packaging and go-to-market approach, weighing self-serve against sales-led motions and segment-based pricing.
Set priorities for quality and coverage of the core data product, including guidance for a dedicated data quality engineer.
Shape the monetization model, including how customers are charged and how usage is metered.
Deliver compliance screening features against major regulatory databases.
What we're looking for
3 or more years as a B2B Product Manager with strong fundamentals in scoping, trade-offs and partnering with engineering.
A zero-to-one or one-to-ten product line you can walk through in detail.
High agency and first-principles thinking, with comfort in ambiguity and resilience when experiments fail.
Ability to align product choices with commercial strategy, so the feature set, price and distribution approach work together.
Understanding of sales-driven motions.
Strong comfort with numbers, including margins, error rates and basic price elasticity.
Practical experience building your own AI-powered workflows and tools, well beyond casual use.
Based in San Francisco or willing to relocate, with existing US work authorization.
Bonus points
Product management experience where end users were developers, plus hands-on API integration experience.
Background in sales and marketing software, or in B2B data and infrastructure products.
Experience at a B2B company running both self-serve and sales-led motions.
Prior work in a product organization with several product managers.
Compensation and benefits
Base salary: USD 150,000 to 190,000 per year
