Summary: Range Commercial Partners, Inc. is hiring a Real Estate Analyst Intern in Richmond, VA. The ideal candidate will assist with various tasks related to brokerage advisory work, research, and data analysis, while gaining exposure to the commercial real estate industry. Responsibilities: - Assist with pulling lease and sales comparables to support brokerage advisory work for our clients - Contribute to and assist with maintaining Range Commercial Partners’ proprietary database - Build underwriting models to support pricing guidance for sales - Conduct extensive real estate, economic, and other research to identify trends that influence the real estate market in Virginia and nationwide - Give regular presentations to Director of Research on findings and implement feedback to improve capabilities - Contribute to research reports with the support of the Director of Research - Identify and plan innovative ways to access, accumulate, and analyze data from various sources - Regularly evaluate business processes to identify areas of improvement/increased efficiency - Attend regular mentorship meetings with Director of Research to build commercial real estate knowledge, presentation skills, and technical analytic skills Required Qualifications: - Pursuing or recently obtained a Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university, preferably in one of the following disciplines: Economics, Business, Computer Science, Engineering - A deep desire to learn and a passion for breaking into the Commercial Real Estate Industry - Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel Skills, or the ability to build them quickly - A mindset that questions the status quo with innovative, creative problem solving skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills.
