Job Description
Tektronix, an operating company under Ralliant, is hosting a Product Applications Engineering Co-op (Systems) – Summer 2026 for motivated students pursuing careers in engineering. As a Product Applications Engineering Co-op, you will work hand in hand with design, marketing, customer support, and field teams to ensure products meet customer needs while gaining valuable hands-on experience with both hardware and software.
This opportunity provides exposure to both the technical and customer-facing aspects of engineering, making it ideal for students eager to broaden their skills in real-world product development.
Responsibilities
- Work hand in hand with design teams to validate new hardware and software using real customer devices.
- Partner with marketing teams to create technical documentation (application notes, white papers, blog posts, manuals, demo videos) and identify new customer use cases.
- Collaborate with customer support teams to investigate bugs, report findings to engineering, assist with automation/setup, and develop custom solutions for difficult problems.
- Support field teams by addressing sales needs, training on new applications, and delivering customer-focused solutions.
- Develop technical marketing materials and contribute to product demonstrations.
- Support customers and sales by solving measurement challenges, investigating product defects, and creating automation code.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Programming experience in Python and C (other languages a plus).
- Basic knowledge of hardware circuit design.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt, multitask, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Open to candidates of all citizenship statuses.
