Summary: Ragle Inc. is seeking a motivated Pre-Construction Engineer Intern to support their Preconstruction Team and Project Managers within the Heavy Highway Division. This role offers hands-on experience in heavy civil construction and project operations, focusing on estimating, procurement, and project setup. Responsibilities: - Attend procurement and project handoff meetings - Assist with maintaining material pricing lists and procurement tracking - Review project plans and specifications to support preconstruction activities - Support jobsite setup coordination, utilities, and field office logistics - Assist with obtaining CAD files and project documentation from owners - Help prepare and organize preconstruction paperwork, notices, and material documentation - Support concrete and asphalt plant setup coordination and permitting documentation - Assist with purchase orders, subcontracts, and related documentation - Provide general support to the Preconstruction Team and Operations as needed - Gain exposure to project workflows from estimating through operations Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field - Strong organizational and communication skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment - Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn - Comfortable working collaboratively across departments - Ability to commute to the North Richland Hills office and travel to DFW-area project sites as needed Preferred Qualifications: - Internship or construction-related experience is a plus, but not required Required Skills: Construction Management, Civil Engineering, CAD
