Job Description
Summary: Ragle Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Pre-Construction Engineer to facilitate smooth transition from estimating to operations by coordinating pricing, procurement, jobsite setup, documentation, and technical review of contract documents. This role works closely with the Preconstruction Team, Project Managers, and Field Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Attend procurement and handover meetings
- Develop and maintain Master Pricing Lists for construction materials
- Review and analyze project plans and specifications to figure out preconstruction needs
- Assist with jobsite staging areas
- Help setup field office, utilities, leases, and related auto payments
- Coordinate procurement of water meters and jobsite fuel
- Assist with obtaining CAD files from the owners
- Prepare and submit preconstruction paperwork (including Notice of Intents and Material Source Letters)
- Coordinate concrete and asphalt plant setups, including permitting and documentation
- Assist with project closeout documentation
- Review and support preparation of LOIs, Purchase Orders, Subcontracts, and Addendums
- Provide backup support to the Preconstruction Team as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering or a related field
- OR 1–2 years of experience in heavy civil public-sector construction projects
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Ability to manage high-volume workloads
- Strong cross-functional collaboration
- Adaptability to changing project needs
- Ability to drive to various projects in the DFW area
- Ability to work from or commute to the North Richland Hills office
