Job Description
Summary: Radian Group is a trusted, global multi-line specialty insurer that helps businesses navigate risk with confidence. They are seeking a Software Engineering GenAI Intern to develop and maintain GenAI infrastructure and applications, collaborate with internal groups, and support AI product development.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining shared GenAI infrastructure and applications, ensuring firmwide data integration and enhancing software development across the firm
- Working on foundational building blocks, such as vector databases and LLM gateways, to support AI tools and applications
- Leveraging state-of-the-art cloud models for scalable and high-availability solutions
- Scaling the adoption of GenAI tools and integrating them with internal knowledge sources to drive innovation
- Collaborating with internal groups and end users to accelerate GenAI product development and deployment, tailoring solutions to their needs
- Participate in agile development methodologies such as Scrum
- Assist in testing and debugging software products
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Continuously improve coding skills and knowledge of software engineering practices
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or Software Engineering, or related discipline
- Currently enrolled in a College or University program as a rising junior, senior, or graduate student
- Prior Work Experience: Less than 6 months
- Education and Credentials: HS Diploma or GED
