Summary: R&T Deposit Solutions is a financial technology company based in New York City, seeking a highly motivated intern to support the analysis and financial reporting of the company's performance. The role involves preparing financial reports, conducting analysis, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting across the business. Responsibilities: - Prepare, consolidate and analyze R&T’s financials and reporting for management, and investors - Conduct financial analysis on firm’s business units and corporate groups to assess performance - Gather and manipulate data to improve financial planning, and drive insights - Manage and implement new processes/systems to build and automate reporting, planning, and analysis - Aid in the preparation of strategic plans, forecasts, and new business analyses - Conduct research on competitors’ performance and market conditions - Assist with analysis and support to the CFO, management, and investors on an ad hoc basis Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field with a GPA of 3.0 or higher - Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience in valuation and financial modeling techniques - Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with datasets to derive meaningful insights - Effective communication skills, with the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner - Detail-oriented, highly organized and strong time management - Ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple projects while prioritizing deliverables - Highly motivated and intelligent, working effectively in a team environment; proactive and takes initiative - Relationship building skills with internal and external counterparties - Strong work ethic and passion for excellence; personal and professional integrity - Experience in Excel, PowerPoint and Word and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau Preferred Qualifications: - Prior experience or coursework in financial analysis is preferred but not required Required Skills: Financial analysis, Financial modeling, Excel Important Skills: Power BI, Tableau Benefits: Hands-on experience in financial planning and analysis within the FinTech industry, Mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals, Networking opportunities with industry leaders and professionals, Opportunity to work at a fast-growing, private equity-backed company
