Apply Description POSITION DESCRIPTION POSITION: Edgebander Operator - 2nd shift DEPARTMENT: Mill JOB SUMMARY: Operates a edgebander machine to apply laminate/vinyl materials to wood parts SPECIFIC DUTIES: Sets up and adjusts edgebander to run parts Reads and interprets work diagrams and paperwork Trims and checks accuracy of parts SKILLS: Must be able to interpret shop paperwork. Must also be able to read tape measure to 1/16” EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma preferred PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS: Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled area during summer months Must be able to stand/ walk for 8-10 hours per day Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Use of basic hand tools (screw gun, drill, hand router, including table saw) Some cleaning of parts involved Must pass drug test 2nd shift position
