The Regulatory Compliance Coordinator supports the Senior Manager Regulatory Compliance in delivering independent oversight of regulatory compliance across QantasLink’s Air Operator’s Certificates (AOC). This role is also responsible for maintaining regulatory oversight of network aerodromes in line with CASR Part 139, including coordination of wildlife hazard management activities on behalf of QantasLink Flight Operations.
Additionally, you will support compliance and assurance across QantasLink Flight Operations for both the Q400 and A220 fleets. Drawing on your experience, you will contribute to regulatory and safety compliance by identifying and mitigating operational risks. You will act as a key QantasLink representative, engaging with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the operation is effectively represented and to drive continuous improvement across regulatory, safety, and technical standards.
You’ll bring:
Strong knowledge of Civil Aviation regulatory frameworks, with prior experience applying CASA regulations
Experience in aerodrome management (desirable)
Background in Dangerous Goods management or instruction
Experience in auditing, with a Lead Auditor qualification highly desirable
Demonstrated experience in business improvement and managing change initiatives
Experience with Quality Assurance and management systems
Proven ability to identify risks and opportunities, develop best-practice solutions, and resolve complex operational issues
Confidence to make sound, autonomous decisions in a fast-paced environment
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels
Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative and innovative approach to driving positive outcomes
Strong analytical capability, including experience using Excel and interpreting data sets
