HIRING CREDIT BALANCE SPECIALIST | US HEALTHCARE

Roles & Responsibilities

• Review and analyze credit balance accounts in US Healthcare.
• Identify the reasons for credit balances, including overpayments, duplicate payments, contractual adjustments, and posting errors.
• Research patient and insurance account histories to determine the appropriate resolution.
• Review EOBs/ERAs and payment information to validate account balances.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve credit balance discrepancies.
• Process refunds or adjustments according to client and company guidelines.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely resolution of assigned accounts.
• Follow established HIPAA, compliance, and quality standards.
• Meet daily productivity, accuracy, and turnaround-time requirements.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding account discrepancies and resolutions.
• Demonstrate good understanding of US Healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM) processes.

Candidate Profile

• 1-4 years of relevant US Healthcare experience.
• Experience in Primary Care, Behavioral Health, or Wellness Visits is preferred.
• Knowledge of Credit Balance / AR processes is highly desirable.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
