About theTax Transformation Team
Tax Transformation works with the business and enabling functions of both the Tax practice and the firm (BES) (XLOS teams) to support the evolution of the Tax operating model and deliver sustained profitable growth. The scale of transformation is significant and ongoing,impactinghow the practiceoperates, serves clients, uses technology, and builds future skills.
About the role:
This is a permanent role within the Tax Transformation team, reporting to a Tax Transformation Manager. The role is suited to a high-performing Senior Associate who thrives in a dynamic environment and has an interest in howAI,data, technology, and process improvement can support transformation across Tax.
A core focus of this role will be providing dedicated delivery support to the Tax Transformation managers on our Los strategy “Enabling our tax services with AI” through facilitating the business in scaling AI opportunities, supporting on the CT compliance transformation project aiming to leverage AI andcontributing to the development and ongoing maintenance of an enduring data model toenable scalable, insight-driven decision-making across the Tax practice.
You will alsowork closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams tosupport anddrive progress, solve problems, and deliver measurable outcomes.
This role is openforapplications from all Lines of Service,atAssociate and Senior Associatelevel.
What youwill do:
StandardisationleveragingAI and Network Tech
Support delivery ofstandardisationworkstreams under the guidance of the Tax Transformation Manager.
Help tax teamscrystalliseideas tostandardiseprocesses including building AI agents and workflows, configuring Sightline for client collaboration and bringingknowledge of broader tax tech landscape.
Support the Transformation manager with development of AI agents in a taxappropriate manner, following Firm and Tax best practices.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives across Tax, including identifying opportunities for automation,standardisationand efficiency.
CT Compliance Transformation
Support the delivery of the reimagined CT compliance process in Tax, working with stakeholders across Tax, BES BA, Technology,Dataand other enabling teams.
Assistwith defining,gatheringand documentingfunctionalrequirementsfor technology and new processes, developing process maps and technology tosupport transformation initiatives.
Contribute to the development and ongoing maintenance of an enduringCT compliance support model, ensuringthereimagineprocess and supporting technologyremainsscalable,relevantand aligned to business needs.
Data & Technology Enablement
Support the delivery ofand establishment of a Tax data layerto enable more opportunitiesfrom AI, working with stakeholders across Tax, Technology,Dataand other enabling teams.
Assistwith defining, gathering and documenting data requirements, data structures, datasourcesand data flows to support transformation initiatives.
Contribute to the development and ongoing maintenance of an enduring Tax data model, ensuring itremainsscalable,relevantand aligned to business needs.
Support data quality,consistencyand governance activities across transformation initiatives.
Assistinleveragingdata to generate insights, track progress and support decision-making by the Tax Transformation Manager, Directors and wider leadership stakeholders.
Transformation Delivery
Support delivery of defined workstreams within broader Tax Transformationprogrammesunder the guidance of the Tax Transformation Manager.
Coordinate activities across workstreams, helping track deliverables, timelines, risks,issuesand dependencies.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives across Tax, including identifying opportunities for automation,standardisationand efficiency.
Prepare andmaintainproject documentation, including project plans, status updates, action logs, processmapsand leadership materials.
Support the development of business cases and implementation plans for data and AI-enabled transformation initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement & Change
Work collaboratively with stakeholders across Tax,BES,Technology,Dataand other enabling functions.
Support changemanagementactivities including communications, stakeholder engagement, trainingmaterialsand adoption support.
Assistwith preparing updates and insights for peer groups, projectteamsand senior stakeholders asrequired.
Help translate business requirements into clear actions for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Team & Capability Development
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement,innovationand collaboration within the Tax Transformation team.
Develop personal capability in data, analytics, AIenablementand transformation methodologies.
Support onboarding and development of associate and coop resources who join the Tax Transformation team temporary
Share knowledge and support colleagues in adopting data-led ways of working.
