Overview
The Role
We are hiring a HR Director, known internally as an Associate Talent Director to join our Connected Media team and play a key role in shaping the future of our agency brand. This is a senior, high-impact role for someone who loves partnering with leaders, building inclusive cultures, and turning business priorities into thoughtful people solutions. You’ll help guide growth, support transformation, and ensure our teams are set up to thrive in a changing world of work. What you'll be doing:
- Partner closely with senior leaders as a trusted advisor, shaping people strategy that supports growth, transformation and business priorities
- Turn agency and commercial goals into practical talent plans that strengthen capability, structure and ways of working
- Lead organisation design, change and transformation activity, supporting leaders with clarity through periods of change and ambiguity
- Drive talent reviews, succession planning and critical role planning, while creating meaningful career pathways and supporting internal mobility
- Use people data, market insight and business context to inform decisions, develop clear recommendations and support reporting across key talent metrics
- Provide senior guidance on employee relations, restructure, TUPE and people governance, ensuring a consistent and high-quality employee experience
- Champion an inclusive, high-performing culture by working across Talent and Centres of Excellence to deliver initiatives in learning, inclusion, wellbeing and engagement
Skills we're looking for:
- Strong experience in a senior talent role, partnering with senior business leaders in a complex, matrixed environment
- A thoughtful commercial mindset, with the ability to connect people decisions to business performance and organisational priorities
- Confident relationship-building skills, with the credibility to influence, challenge constructively and collaborate across multiple stakeholders
- Clear and persuasive communication, with the ability to turn insight into practical action and executive-level narrative
- Strong knowledge of UK employment practices, with hands-on experience in employee relations, organisational change and transformation
- A data-literate approach, using evidence and insight to guide decisions, improve outcomes and maintain strong governance
- People leadership experience, with a commitment to developing others, staying curious and embracing the future of work, including AI-enabled capability
