Customer Service - Self Storage Manager at Public Storage · Oak Park

Summary: Public Storage is the self-storage industry leader and is currently hiring for a Self Storage Manager. This role involves working independently at multiple locations, assessing customer storage needs, conducting daily inspections, and ensuring customer payment compliance. Responsibilities: - Assess customer storage needs and make suggestions, including selling packing and moving supplies - Daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability - Auditing cash drawers and making bank deposits - Help keep customers current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required - Perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks, including sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds/curb appeal clean and free of debris Required Qualifications: - Experience in customer service centered sales environments including retail, restaurant, fast food or other service-based companies - Valid driver's license and ability to utilize own vehicle to travel between different work locations and/or while conducting other work-related business Important Skills: Customer service experience, Sales experience Nice-to-Have Skills: Teamwork skills Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k with match, Paid time off, Sick time, Flex spending, Company paid life, Accidental death insurance, Exclusive vendor discounts, Mileage reimbursement
