Job Description
Summary: Premier Truck Rental is a family-owned company providing customized commercial fleet rentals nationwide. The IT Intern - Development role offers an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in software development, application design, and IT solutions while contributing to ongoing projects with the development team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, coding, testing, and debugging of applications and software solutions
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand project goals, and contribute to the development lifecycle
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality, performance, and adherence to best practices
- Identify and resolve bugs or issues in software applications through systematic testing and analysis
- Maintain and update project documentation, including technical specifications, user manuals, and process guidelines
- Stay updated on new technologies and trends while providing support to the development team as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as C#, .NET, SQL or JavaScript
- Familiarity with web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular)
- Understanding of database systems, including SQL and NoSQL
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
