Summary: PSC by Rocket Lab is seeking a Systems Engineering Intern for Fall 2026 to support the Space Systems Division. The intern will collaborate with team members on engineering challenges, contribute to design development, and engage in ongoing learning within a high-performing team. Responsibilities: - Support the Space Systems Division in the development of Assembly Integration and Test sequences - Collaborate with team members to apply engineering concepts to real challenges - Attend regular 1:1 meetings with mentors and supervisors to track progress - Participate in tech talks and networking events with other interns and employees - Contribute to design development and issue resolution for Rocket Lab's satellites - Engage in ongoing learning and skill development within a high-performing team - Lead development projects and collaborate across teams to achieve results Required Qualifications: - Must be enrolled in an engineering, physics, or math discipline with at least one semester remaining post-internship - Minimum GPA of 3.0 - At least 3 months of applied engineering experience (internship, lab, or project experience) - Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and work in small teams - Strong collaboration and communication skills Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working with spacecraft hardware or test hardware is advantageous - Familiarity with developing and running test scripts for space hardware is a plus Required Skills: Assembly Integration and Test sequences, Spacecraft hardware, Test hardware, Test scripts for space hardware Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Fall
