They are seeking a Mechanical Intern to provide support to engineers while learning about mechanical engineering practices and performing basic engineering tasks under supervision. Responsibilities: - Providing support to engineers in a variety of capacities depending on the group for which the intern is working - Learn basic shop, CAD, machine design and engineering practices - Use established procedures to perform basic engineering tasks on small projects or tasks of large projects under the direct supervision of an engineer - Perform documentation functions, engineering calculations, data collections and/or analysis, prototyping, testing and assisting in design and detailing Required Qualifications: - Be a full-time student in an accredited educational institution - Have a technical aptitude, be detail oriented and organized - Understand basic mechanical/electrical engineering principles - Be a Mechanical Engineering student with a minimum G.P.A. of 3.0 out of 4.0 Required Skills: Mechanical Engineering, CAD Important Skills: Mechanical/Electrical Principles Nice-to-Have Skills: Organized, Detail Oriented
